Darke County Economic Development Director Marc Saluk had the opportunity to share with students of Greenville High School in November. Tenth grade students in Mrs. Hoying's World History classes wanted to know more about economic development, so they invited Marc in for a presentation. Information was given on local business retention and expansion, state and county incentive programs, investment dollars in the county and the return on these investments, the Partnering for Progress initiative, and much more. The students were able to ask questions after the presentation. Says Marc of the whole experience, "It was a chance to get a different audience than usual and it was fun to work with the kids. Thanks to Mrs. Hoying and the students both for their hospitality!"
