GREENVILLE- The Darke County Economic Development (DCED) Office has completed the move to its new location in Suite 201 of The Palace at 537 South Broadway in Greenville. The office, which seeks to facilitate business development in Darke County, took up residency in its new home on Monday, May 23. DCED joins other development-oriented organizations, Main Street Grenville and The Darke County Visitor's Bureau, already operating on the facility's second floor.

"Anyone that has visited The Palace knows that it's a beautiful facility and that it already has a very professional and diverse group of tenants," said Economic Development Director Marc Saluk. "We're very happy to be here."

According to Saluk, the move has not slowed down any of the office's activities (thanks to Office Manager Melanie Nealeigh) which currently include work on 15 potential projects with Darke County businesses that could lead to job creation and significant capital investment in the county.

DCED is governed by the Darke County Community Improvement Corporation and funded by the Partnering for Progress initiative, a development-oriented collaboration of communities, businesses, and individuals from around Darke County.

All contact information for the office will remain the same and office walk-in hours are Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 4:30 PM, and at any other time by appointment. Questions can be directed to the DCED staff at 937-548-3250.
