Dayton-Area Industrial Property, Former Site of Corning Plant Sold

A 300,000-square-foot industrial property in Darke County has been sold.

A 300,000-square-foot industrial property in Darke County has been sold.

The facility at 1025 Martin St. in Greenville was sold on Jan. 12 to Michael Jones. The facility has been renamed the Greenville Distribution Center, and Jones hopes the building will be an opportunity to revitalize and boost the local economy.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Tim Echemann and Darcie Crossonof Piqua-based Industrial Property Brokers oversaw the transaction.

Industrial real estate across the Dayton region has become harder to come by due to company expansions and new industrial users entering the Miami Valley.

Jones currently owns and operates Treaty City Industries, a plastics and rubber manufacturer, and also owns other manufacturing and warehouse operations in Greenville. Jones the distribution center will be available for local warehousing and industrial space.....
