PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Leadership Darke County is a dynamic leadership development program aimed at cultivating leadership skills, identifying emerging leaders, and enhancing the capabilities of existing leaders.
The program fosters collaboration and innovation within our community.
Participants will gain insight into their unique leadership styles and develop a deeper understanding of their strengths and areas for growth as leaders.

PROGRAM COMMITMENT
Leadership Darke County is a ten-month educational journey designed for those actively pursuing leadership roles within our community and local organizations.

The program kicks off with an orientation that transforms a group of individuals into a cohesive network of empowered community leaders.

Each month, participants dedicate one day to exploring a specific leadership topic, coupled with a visit to a local organization.

The program culminates in a graduation ceremony held at Darke County Economic Development’s Fall Mixer.
Given the unique nature of each program day, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions. Additionally, participants will be required to contribute to their class’s project, which may involve additional hours outside the scheduled program time. Failure to meet these commitments may result in withdrawal from the program, and tuition is non-refundable.

Program Fee: $600

To apply and be considered for Leadership Darke County, you must live or work in Darke County.

After submitting your application, you will undergo a panel interview process.

The 2025 class will have a maximum of 20 participants and the number of participants per organization will be limited.

If necessary, a waitlist will be created for the 2025 class, and a priority notification list will be established for the 2026 class.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications have closed for the 2025 class. Applications will open for the 2026 class in the fall of 2025.
All applicants will be required to go through an interview process.
The 2025 class will have a maximum of 20 participants and the number of participants per organization will be limited.
If selected, the program fee will be due upon acceptance into the 2025 class.
