Darke County Economic Development, through the Career Connections program, is implementing YouScience across all eight school districts in the county. Olivia Schmitmeyer, the Career Connections Coordinator, works directly with these schools—primarily focusing on testing students at the sophomore level.

Schmitmeyer shares, “It’s so exciting to go into classrooms and talk with students about their results. You see the light bulbs go off when they realize how their natural strengths can translate into real careers, especially right here in Darke County. Helping them see that their future is not only possible, but accessible locally, is incredibly rewarding.”
